Why choose the Astéria mattress?

The advantage of polyurethane foam is the high air and water vapor permeability allowing sweat produced by the body during sleep to freely penetrate the mattress and moisture will not accumulate inside it.

This reduces the growth of microorganisms and bacteria within the mattress.

Coconut is a natural raw material that has hypoallergenic properties and prevents the growth of bacteria, mold and fungi.

All components used in the production of the mattress are certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Composition:

Top-quality foam with a hardness of T25:

The T25 foam used in this mattress, means the mattress core is sufficiently hard and springy to provide proper support for the spine. During sleep, both on the side and on the back, proper positioning of the spine is ensured, maintaining its natural, straight position. The foam minimises the adverse effect on the arrangement of the spine spine that sleeping on a soft mattress may have.

Coconut mat:
The mattress uses a natural coconut mat with a weight of 1200 g / m2. The coconut layer changes the hardness characteristics of the mattress. It is a natural raw material with hypoallergenic properties, and prevents the growth of bacteria and fungi. As the stiffness of the mattress is increased, its life is extended.

Quilted cover:
The cover is made of three layers of knitted fabrics with a weight of 300g / m2, each of which is suitable for contact with the delicate skin of a child. The outer layer is velvety and delicate to the touch, while being resistant to tearing. The middle, spatial layer serves to give the cover suitable fluffiness and volume, and the inner layer is designed to protect the delicate middle layer during use, removal or washing.

An extremely important feature of the cover is that it is quilted using ultrasonic technology. The individual layers are not sewn together with threads, but thermally joined, using a sonotrode. This is especially important for mattresses made to be enjoyed by the children as it eliminates the risk of tangling of the threads. They threaten to choke or wrap around a baby's delicate fingers as a result of their movements.

The cover has a sewn-in zipper on three sides, so it can be easily removed for washing.

Mattress care:

The mattress should not be used on the floor or other flat surface, such as a solid board bed frame, as this prevents its ventilation.

It is recommended to flip the mattress every few months to increase its service life as well ensuring the highest comfort.

The mattress is not suitable for dry cleaning, wet washing or steam cleaning.

Any dirt should be cleaned only with a damp cloth, and any spills should be dried in a horizontal position.

It is recommended to air the mattress regularly, to extend its life.
